Baby's First Daygown in Sew Beautiful Magazine

My new pattern "Baby's First Daygown" is featured in the latest issue of Sew Beautiful magazine.
There is a cute baby pictured in it under the title Baby's First Christmas.

A perfect Christmas Daygown.

The sleeves pull up with ribbon.  Red for the Christmas season.
The fabric I used for this Daygown is Swiss Flannel.  It is one of the softest fabrics ever!  But fine and wonderful.

The focus of this article, besides showing a cute Christmas Daygown is to give you instructions for lengthening the Daygown and forming a casing to run a ribbon through.

Then you can draw it up to keep baby's little feet nice and warm.

It's an easy thing to do and the article has illustrations for you to follow!

A touch of embroidery on the back of the Old Fashioned Daygown!

The Christmas Embroidery Design is included in my Sew Beautiful magazine article.  And I used a Swiss Trim  on either side of the front opening.  Then I ran red Embroidery Floss through it for a really festive look!

Baby's First Daygowns pattern will be ready in November.  I am taking orders now if you want to be the first to receive it.

If you need a Daygown before then....use my Old Fashioned Baby Layette pattern.

This is my White Wednesday post for this week with Faded Charm.

Thank you for visiting me this morning!
