French Acadian Christening Gown by Susie on display at the Woodlawn Neeldework Show.
Susie Gay entered her  Christening Gown in the Woodlawn Needlework Show.  She received a First Place, Second Place and a Judges Award!    Hooray for Susie!! She is supporting the Heirloom Sewing Arts!
We aren't surprised!  It is beautiful!  And the skill needed to complete it by hand is apparent in her work.
 Well done Susie!

inspired by the gowns made in Southern Louisiana in the early 1900's.

I'm so pleased that she used my pattern as her entry!
