White Wednesday -Pretty Bonnet and Daygown

Click for a Close Up of the Bullion Embellished Buttons.
I will be teaching for the National Convention of the Smocking Arts Guild of America in September.  The National Convention is an annual event that takes place in a different host city every year.  Wonderful women who love sewing get together for a great time! This year it will be held in Norfolk.

Both the Bonnet and the Daygown design were inspired by vintage garments.

One of the classes I will teach is the Sweet and Simple Embellished Daygown and Bonnet.  It is a two day class.  I love two day classes because it allows students to really learn  the techniques I am teaching. They will get alot done on their Daygown which is fun for them!  And I
love
this little Daygown and Bonnet so it will be especially fun for me.

Pretty little Bonnet with lovely embroidery.
I love Featherstitching!!

White Wednesday is the day I like to show you some of my white baby clothes.  Visit over at Faded Charm for more  pretty White things!

Your work is beautiful. I was just looking at my now 18 year old daughter's christening dress today, and I'm sure your work is as or more beautiful.
Lovely.
