Birds of a Feather….

Sweet sewing Blue Birds!

Birds of a Feather Flock Together!

So true.  I love being with like minded people.

How do you like my towel perched above my china hutch.  It goes with the blue and white dishes. It can be a Tea Towel.

My like minded Friend stitched this pretty towel for me.

We have fun together.

How do you like my towel hanging in the bathroom? It can  be a hand or face towel.  It's a lovely, soft fabric.

We were together in a fabric shop when she bought this toweling to make me something.

And the colors go together so well in my bathroom!

She asked me what I would like stitched on it.
I told her birds.

Blue is my favorite color.

Here my towel is …covering my Featherweight Sewing Machine.  In my sewing room, I could enjoy it all the time!
What do you think?

She surprised me when she gave it to me a week later.  So fast!!

I love it.

Friends are the best.

"A man that has friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother."
Proverbs 18:24

Would be nice if you included this in a pattern of embroidery motifs. Love the bluebirds.

I am thinking that pattern came from a vintage DOW set. It would have been Wednesday. I am not familiar with it but I am going to be keeping my eye out for it now! I love anything avian. I have seven birds talking to me right now. Two of them are adolescent Budgies. They were a rescue. One is the prettiest blue Budgie I have ever seen. Aunt Martha had a Budgie DOW set at one time and I have been thinking of trying to find it. Besides sewing up something for a new baby, I like to make a set of towels for wedding presents. I have always found them well received. I like all of your blue. It's one of my favorite colors also.
