Pretty Vintage Pillowcases!

Lovely bouquet to rest my head on!
I love pretty pillowcases!
My new (but old) pillowcases are freshly washed and ironed.
I love fresh pillowcases on my bed!  Starched and Ironed!  Nothing says Sweet Dreams to me quite like fresh linens on my bed and starched and ironed Embroidered Pillowcases.  And I use a  diluted Lavender spray when I iron.  What a good smell!

  2. I have tried and tried to leave a comment about the dog on that blog, but I just am not able to do it. He's adorable. I'm so jealous that you got a calm, easy to train dog! Oh well - I do love mine. Kathy

PS - the flowers are wonderful in the last post...soon we'll have some up here. Pillowcases are nice, too. K

  3. Beautiful! I also use Lavender spray on my sheets - I actually spritz the sheets every morning before I make the bed!

  6. Jeannie, I want to know about the edge on these. Are they hemstitched and then crocheted or is that entredeux? I really want to make some for my bed for summer/spring.

  7. These are vintage pillowcases and they have machine (the old kind done on a hemstitch machine) hemstitching on them. The crochet is worked into the hemstitch holes. The pretty flowers make you dream about spring!

  8. Vintage pillowcases, love them. I turned a couple into matching dresses for my daughter and niece.
