White Wednesday - Embroidered Raglan Daygown

There are so many shades of White.  And there are even variations of the shades of white.  I love to look at the white linen gown  against the lace tablecloth.  Textures and shades and shimmering sun tipped roses.
These beautiful things came from the local grocers, not my garden!
"Embroidered Raglan Daygowns" pattern made in Ulster Linen.
This is a nice long length to cover baby's little toes!
It has a cute little duck family  Shadow Embroidered at the hem.
Aren't all ducks pink?
Can you see the pink Featherstitch embroidery worked along the front/sleeve seam line?
Pretty pink ribbon to tie in a bow.
The sleeves are finished with a ribbon so it can be pulled up to fit baby's wrist.

Come with me on the  Faded*Charm  celebration of White Wednesday.

I'm kind of a novice. Did a few things but not alot. My boys just would not have wore heirloom.

  4. Duckies are still my favorite embellishment for baby clothes. They aren't "too girly" for daddies who aren't into heirloom. They are "girly enough" for baby girls. My son's favorite outfit was his "ducky suit" - a smocked one piece outfit with ducklings on it, for the Easter he was 3 years old.

  6. That is absolutely gorgeous! I loved day gowns. I had all boys but when they were infants they all wore gowns so easy to open and change them in the middle of the night!
Come by my blog to win Rachael ray bake ware.
    Thanks!

  14. I think the best way to describe your daygown is just simply "Understated Elegance".
