I had such an enjoyable weekend teaching for the Midnight Oil Smockers in Houston, Texas.

They were a busy group!

Tucking, tucking, tucking.  And learning about stitching tucks into a block.

Then how to cut out the sleeves and Bonnet from the tucked fabric.

Stitching lace insertion between the tucks.  And lace to lace.  Lots of fun stitching.

We talked about the difference between threads and how you need to use a fine cotton thread when stitching lace to…anything.

We used Madeira #80

We used Baby Daydresses Revised.

To make this darling little dress!
