Oh My Gosh….this gown has some beautiful touches!!
I nearly swooned when Leslye brought it out to show me.
What catches your eye is the unusual touch of French Knots that are embroidered along the tops of the tucks.
The Lace at the edge of the ruffle is slip stitched to the tiny hem created with hand Hemstitching.
The embroidery is exquisitely done.
Plump satin stitched leaves on the flowers and a perfect eyelet in the center.

This is the inside of the gown.
I want you to see how perfectly the roll and whip attached the lace.
You can see the lovely rolled and whipped ruffle here too.
Notice the tiny embroidery along the facing on the slip.
The same little dots along the facing at the neck at the slip.
I love the beauty and skilled stitching of vintage baby clothes.
You can just tell by the loveliness that they enjoyed every stitch.
May your stitches be lovely
May you stitch with joy
May you finish your garment
