There was the true Light (Jesus) which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. John1:9
Jesus spoke saying"I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life". John8:12
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him". John 3:16

Hi Magpie, I would check with my local sewing shop or library about smocking classes. If nothing is available near you, then invest in a couple of good instruction books. I use an Amanda Jane pleater. Smocking is fun and it's not hard to do.
