Cheryl made Priscilla's "For A Christmas Baby" Daygown.

Cheryl  from time-really-does-fly  really did it.  And she did it so well.

She has made the little Priscilla's Layette daygown for A Christmas Baby. She went right to the finish!  It is lovely and I am so pleased to see it.

You can see it too.  Visit Cheryl's blog.

  1. Thank you very much! :) I love the pattern and it will be my "go to" pattern for a baby gift from now on. It's fast, easy, and beautifully old fashioned looking! I want to make another out of pink and give them to the mother together...don't you think she needs a pink one trimmed in tatting and bullion roses?? :)

  2. A pink daygown trimmed with tatting and embellished with Bullion Roses sounds very fine. A white daygown trimmed with pink bias binding and a touch of lace would be sweet...A ecru daygown trimmed with ....we could go on and on, couldn't we? I am looking forward to seeing your pink daygown. I love your Christmas Daygown and love the turncord. What a lucky little baby to have you sew for her.

  4. Jeannie,
Enjoying your blog and especially the Pricilla's Layette lessons. Can't wait for my pattern to arrive so I can actually start on the gown itself.

Thanks, too, for linking us to Cheryl's blog. I spent almost an entire morning reading backwards getting to know her. Now I have 2 blogs that are the first thing I read in the morning. They give me inspiration, encouragement and a feeling of friendship with both of you. God bless.
