Found in an Antique Store.
This antique slip is 18 1/2" long from shoulder to hem (including the 1 7/8" ruffle). The side seams are French Seamed by machine. The rest of the slip is stitched by hand. There is tiny entredeux between the slip hem and the ruffle. Lace edges the ruffle and the top of the slip.
What a beautiful hem. I would love to see the dress that matches this slip!!
The embroidery on the hem is exquisite. It is tiny and fine. The stitching, amazing.

The embroidery design is reproduced on a slip and bonnet in "Best Embroidered Baby Clothes One".
I loved the embroidery desing so I used it on a Slip and a Bonnet in my pattern "Best Embroidered Baby Clothes One". 
Antique Slip hem and my reproduction hem. I substituted some easier stitches on my slip.
I did not include the ruffle on the slip in my pattern. If you want a ruffle, combine this slip pattern with the slip in " Revised Baby Daydresses ". The slip in that pattern has a ruffle. Be sure to adjust the slip length to your dress.

When I came over to visit, I noticed your baby slip and that it was the same as the one I wore as a baby minus the embroidery. The lace even looks the same.
