Stitching In My Garden With a Friend, and a Tip!!

Wonderful time with my friend.
Friend was finishing up a Daygown. It's going to be beautiful!
My Summer of Daygown Fun is almost over! How Sad.
We decided we need an Endless Summer!  To Stitch.

Pretty Red Castle dishes.  And Chocolate Cake.
But we were revived by Tea!
And the pretty Roses that bloomed around us brought happiness.

Do you recognize this?
Some of you will.  This is the completed back facing for the Daygown in our Sew Along.
Is yours done?  Notice the tomato.

This is a simple and handy Tip for keeping your needle sizes straight.
Use a fine line permanent marker and write the needle size and type of the needle you use in each section of the Tomato (it is divided by the green string).  Just stick the "used" needle back in the right section and you won't be wondering.."Is this an #11 Sharps or is it a #10 Sharps!"

Don't be late for class tomorrow!!
I am making you a cake for Tea!

  2. I've caught up and can't wait to see the next lesson. I admit I'm a little afraid of the buttonholes. Thanks for walking us through this.

And the needle organizer is a great idea. I think I have a spare tomato around...
