Stitching Bullions on a Face Washer

I was stitching Rosebuds on Face Washers for a few select ladies.  This is the color I chose.

But my Daughter and Granddaughter  thought I was going to way too much trouble for a flower that just blended into the cloth.

So I went to get another color.

And it does show up better.

But I still like the first one a lot, too

To blend  in softly..
or stand out loftly?

That was the question of that day!

loft·y  (lôft, lf-)
adj. loft·i·erloft·i·est
1. Of imposing height.
2. Elevated in character; exalted.
3. Affecting grandness; pompous.
4. Arrogant; haughty.

You can see I had to do a little personal editing to get my rhyme to work!

  3. Where did you get these face washers? They look a little different than regular washcloths.

    Thank you,
    Darby :)

  4. Jeannie,
You are the only person I know who would embroider a wash cloth! But I love it!

  5. You mean everyone doesn't have Rose Buds on their wash cloths??

I found them at TJ Max.
