Teaching in Lake Charles Day 1

Student Sample of the Bonnet Embroidery - Great Job!!
One student worked on the Bonnet in class and finished it at home the same night.
I was so excited to see it the next day.  She did a great job.  I love eyelets and hers are very nice!!

And it is encouraging to everybody to see the finished work.  That means it is a do-able project.

The first day, we stitched an embroidered Bonnet.  It had French Eyelets, Daisies, Seed Stitch, Old Fashioned Double Featherstitch and Pinwheel Posies.

Attentively learning new stitches.

Student Sample of a Class Project.
This is the finished  Class Project from a previous class a student had taken.

I love it when ladies bring their finished projects to show me.  Isn't it pretty?

The Contraband Heirloom Stitchers (and me).
Aren't we a merry group?

Having fun sewing together!!
