My Sew Sew's Come To Tea!

I spy alot of beautiful Bullions!!
Naturally we sewed!
This is a project that is currently being taught at the French Handsewers Smocking Arts Guild meetings by talented member Suzette.

Using an issue of Inspirations magazine. Two of my friends were working on this project.

This is pieced by hand.  I love this Blue!!
This beautiful quilt was a show and share by my neighbor.  She is an amazing quilter and does everything by hand.  This is the front and now she needs to quilt it.

She is going to teach me! (when I get some time)

Notice the dish of Lemon Curd.  I will share this recipe with you.  It is so easy!

And it was a tea party!! So there were goodies to eat.
 I had expert helpers.

I served Earl Grey and Rose Tea (in honor of my blooming Roses)!

And Current Scones.

We will have to finish sewing on my next post as this is getting long.  Also Lemon Curd recipe coming up.

  2. What a lovely table. Emillie Barns is one of my favorites. I do have a question about the Inspirations project, what is the stabilize that is used on top of the linen?

  3. Lisa, I am not doing this project myself. It looks like a wash away stabilizer. Can anyone who has done or is doing this project answer Lisa's question?
