Steaming Lady Gray Tea in my Grandmothers fancy Teacup!
I had such a nice morning. I spent most of it sitting by the warm fire, sipping tea and stitching. I did a little reading too. And I didn't get out of my Flannel Nightgown until noon!
Tomorrow I will give you a little lesson about gathering lace evenly and stitching it.

Are you making the whole gown by hand? Do you have a favorite Christening gown pattern. I get to make one for a baby girl who was born this morning!!
This baby dress will not be stitched entirely by hand. I am working on a design for my summer retreat. Trying things out. Like it very much so far! My favorite Christening Gown is the one I am making at the moment. It depends how fancy. The T-Yoke Christening Gown is very beautiful and a favorite design. Lucky you to have a destination for a Christening Gown!
Can't wait for tomorrow's post!
Oh Jeannie, it is beautiful. And to be in your nightgown until noon? Bliss! Sounds like a perfect morning to me.
