Fine Heirloom Sewing, Smocking and Hand Embroidery
"Baby will be well and smiling in little garments made by Mother, Auntie, Grannie and loving friends!"
Please join me as I teach the old fashioned techniques and skills needed to sew baby clothes. You will find lessons that start at the very beginning and take you step by step as we sew little baby clothes together. May you find much joy and pleasure in making them.
Oh my . Everything looks so pretty. When I look at your blog Jeannie, I take a deep breath and slow down and just enjoy. The beauty and lovely work you show remind me to slow down and do something well, simply for the sake of beauty. Your work is breathtaking! I work hard to do things well, but I am always in earnest and probably focus too much on functionality. I want to savor making lovely things again soon. Thank you for your beautiful photos.
OH OH OH!! you really know how to get a person right in their heart.. OH SO BEAUTIFUL~ I adore the pink with lace and the all white. I will be rolling down the driveway each day ready to snatch the issue from his hands.
I love babies, embroidery and old fashioned Baby Clothes!! I am the designer for the pattern line "The Old Fashioned Baby". My designs reflect my interest in vintage infant's and children's clothing, as do my classes, many of which include techniques and embellishments used from the late 1800's to the 1950's. I teach these techniques around the United States and publish some of my designs and ideas in Classic Sewing magazine. And I love Roses and all the flowers in My Garden (and yours too, probably).

If the hints and teases are any indication, it will be another delightful article! Now, to be patient . . .

Oh. How. Beautiful! I can't wait till this issue comes out. Does the pink mean that this is going to be the 'pink issue'?
Thank you, I am so happy you all look forward to seeing my little dresses in the July issue of Sew Beautiful. It is not a "Pink" issue though.
