Lilly's Pinwheel Quilt

Lilly's Pinwheel Quilt is complete!
It's been washed, label stitched on and ready to give.

On her first birthday..... less than a couple of weeks.

This is the scripture I chose for the back of her quilt.
She is such a happy little girl.
She certainly does make a joyful noise!

I took a lot of photos because I am so proud to have it finished!

I used cute 30's Fabrics to make it.
They were in a Charm Pack so it was very easy.  The assorted fabrics all went together without any angst on my part!

I hand embroidered the label.

My Brown Dog was not much interested.

He just wants to be around.

I hope you are enjoying sewing during this hard time.

It makes me happy!

"O Lord , our Lord,
How majestic is Your name in all the earth,
Who have displayed Your splender above the heavens!"
Psalm 8:1

Absolutely adorable yet beautiful quilt. I am a Grandmama also. It takes a little longer for them to learn to say it all but then...sure bliss. My Grandchildren's ages are 13, 9, 5, 4 and 1.

I haven't touched my sewing machine in about 6 years, but I just made a small version of this as a first project back and it turned out very well! Thank you for a great tutorial! read more here.
