Londyns Closet - Slip Dress

Baby Londyn was at the Beach for her 8 Month photo.
The chosen "Beach Dress" is the slip from my pattern Baby Daydresses.

Slips make the best summer Dresses for a baby.

They are cool and comfortable and can be embellished in so many ways.

Pretty embroidery at the neck using one strand embroidery floss and a fine needle.

The slip features a ruffle at the hem and Bullion Rosebuds just above.  I've added Swiss Beading with pink ribbon woven through.   And, Gathered Lace edging is featured along the top to give it a that little extra touch that makes it stand out.

Then a good washing to get all the sand off and let it dry in the sun.

And back in Londyns closet.....

So she  can wear it again.
