Tea and Fingerless Gloves!

I have been wanting some of these for a long time!!
This Christmas my sister knitted them for me.  Everything about them is perfect!  The color and the design.  They have an old fashioned look.  I love them.

And....this is my first Tea Party of 2011. In front of a roaring fire.
We used my Spode Christmas Tea Pot and dishes, which I am loath to put away.  I made Cranberry Scones and Oatmeal/Chocolate Chip Cookies. Yumm.

No, it was not so cold in my house that I needed my gloves but I wanted to try them out!  They keep your hands warm and allow you to use your fingers too.

I  did a poor job taking pictures at my Tea Party!  My Friend was smocking a beautiful Lace Garter for her son's new bride to wear but I forgot to photograph it!!
Sorry, you would have loved it!
Next time I'll do better.
