Emma's Smocked Baby Dress - Classic View

The fabric is plisse of pink roses from Nashville Cottons.
Made by Belinda.
I love the back!
The classic view has a hem with roses embroidered.
Because of the print, she left the roses off the hem.
Smocked sleeves and lace embellished collar.
Isn't it cute in a print fabric?
This pattern features an old fashioned pleat under the arm.

What a beautiful dress! Now that I finally have more time to sew--baby girl is getting too big! I'm so sad. Thanks for sharing about the pleat. I was ironing a dress from a friend (an older one) and noticed the pleat. I thought someone had taken it up in a strange place! :)

I just love that dress, I just ordered two patterns and will try my hand at smocking. I would love to find that material. Janie
