Friends and Roses

Friendships and Roses bring joy to my heart!
A friend gave me a rose in a pot for Valentines Day.
I planted it and this is the first bloom since planted.

Chair I found when antiquing with my friend.
Then she gave me the perfect fabric to cover the seat of my chair!

It is covered in Roses of course!
And she brought her staple gun over and covered it for me!!

"Oil and perfume make the heart glad,
and the sweetness of a friend comes
from his earnest counsel."
Proverbs 27:9

Your chair is darling and your friend sounds like a fun friend to shop with! I had a chair similar to that in high school but it had a pink velvet seat. Very princessy!

I love your chair. The fabric is perfect. I love rose prints and have a hard time finding them. I also love your blog. Heirloom sewing and smocking and a favourite past time of mine, and not found here much in Ontario Canada.

Jeannie, I ♥ your garden statuary & that tiny single rose blossom is so sweet!
My landscapers broke off the top of my yellow rose bush yesterday & I wanted to cry. It will survive but it was just ready to bloom. :-(

Pretty seat cover & GREAT friend!!

Have a Blessed Sunday!

fondly,
Rett
