Thoughts of My Mother

My sister took a  copy of a photo of my mother  and embellished it and then waxed it.
My Mother

I found this lovely old print in an antique shop.  It expressed exactly what I felt for my Mother.

In memory of my own Mother.  And as a tribute to all the Mothers we love!

My Mothers pearls.
This set of graduated pearls were given to my Mother by my Grandmother.
And now they are mine.

Mom on the left, I am the baby, Grandmother,  and sister Kathy behind me. Hmmm, it looks like she is choking me!  Just sisterly love.
Picture taken in Kansas I think,  where my Father was stationed in the Air Force.

Happy Mothers Day!

Today is also my second daughters  Birthday!!
Emily Ann getting dressed to go home from the hospital.
Happy Birthday Emily!!

I was probably trying to choke you. Luckily, I'm (mostly) over that impulse! Nah - really, I am! Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday to Emily. Kathy
