My New Year

by Mary Englebright
This year, my resolution is to ....
HAVE MORE FUN!
I must say this resolution has worked for me in the last few years.

my brown dog is always looking ahead to fun and interesting things
and....I resolve to look ahead instead of feeling bad about what I did not do.

I will also take  the time to daydream about happy days to come.

Read the Bible in a year.  Start today.  I will post the coming months.

And I resolve to dwell on "whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute and excellent and worthy of praise."  Philippians 4:8

May the God of peace be with each of you in the coming year.

Love, Jeannie

Happy New Year! I, also, plan to read thru the Bible this year. My kindle has a Bible app that will read to me, so I can listen to my daily readings.

So happy to have found your blog! I love your 'Brown Dog' gazing out the window pic! Speaks many things doesn't it?! Lovely. I've been a French Heirloom sewing lover for many years and a fan of several of your early designs and patterns. Beautiful blog.
