Today I'm showing you some of the garments Cristine brought to show us.
Cristine made a Sweet and Simple Daygown out of Linen.
Very cute! I love linen.
I like the way she piped the collar in a soft color and then added lace edging around it.
Cristine and her Daygown in the Florida sunshine!
This is an old Feltman Brothers smocked dress.
Notice the box pleats at the center front.
You can see the shadow of the "back smocking" which holds the pleats together so they were able to embroider on the front. I really like the white with a bit of blue.
This cute little set has very pretty embroidery in white.
I like the white with green embroidery too.
Thank you Cristine for bringing these cute garments to share with us.
We loved seeing them.
There is one more dress for next time….

Little boy set with embroidery in white would be a wonderful class for those who sew for baby boys. Hint, hint. Susan VH

Yes, it is very cute!!
What lovely garments!
all of the garments are divine, but I really love the boys short suit and heartily agree with Susan's comment above. An online class would be beyond fabulous. I so so so want to be able to do an OFB sew along. I really need to start adding boys clothes to my Grandmother's Hope Chest :D
