Sip n' Sew - The Sequel

This photo is my finished Dress.
Emma's Smocked Baby Dresses View 2 has a lovely embroidered yoke.

We traced the yoke onto the starched and pressed fabric and worked the embroidery before we cut out the yoke. When the fabric is very sheer and there is much embroidery to be worked, this is a good method to use.  Otherwise the yoke might be stretched out of shape with all the working of it.

Stitching Bullions.

And paying very close attention to every single wrap!

Embroidery is the fine finishing touch to a special garment.

And it is your personal signature.
