My FST: Belgium Museum of Costume and Lace

The workmanship on the garments was exquisite.
Mere steps from our Brussels Hotel was the Museum of Costume and Lace.

Be still my beating heart!!

It was that wonderful.

You were able to see different styles as we walked along.

They were beautiful and versatile too.
If you look behind the dress…a little to the left, you will see a fitted jacket to match.

The lace could come off and the jacket put on.

They told you exactly when the dress would be worn. Such as a Walking Dress or a Morning Dress etc.  It was so interesting to read the information and see the actual dresses.

The lace shawl is so, so fine.

You would not expect such a wonderful collection based on the outside of this building.
It is not to be missed.

More to come in the next post….

Such beautiful dresses! and such tiny waists! I absolutely love the blue stripe with the jacket. What a lovely trip this is!
