Teaching in Memphis

This perfect Bullion Picot was stitched by a student in the "Wonderful Petticoat" class.

I went to Memphis to teach for the Memphis Area Smocking Arts Guild.

This is our merry group for the Lace Yoked Daygown class.
(You can't tell from this picture but they were not as merry when asked to stop stitching for this photo.  This was a serious about stitching group!  But they were too nice to refuse.)

We stitched Bullions in Button holes.

And my host had an amazing yard.
I felt like I was staying in a spring inspired wonderland!

We stitched both the regular and the Antique Double Featherstitch.

Two blog friends are Judy (you can visit Judy's  blog) and Shirley.
I met Blog Friends, which is always fun.

And, at my request, I ate BBQ for three nights in a row.
They have the BEST BBQ ever in Memphis!

I'll tell you more about my visit in my next post...
