Paris - The Bon Marche - Sewing Department

Most of this fabric is Liberty of London.
30E per Metre (a metre is about 39") so a little more than a yard.

Interesting tailors notions.

Boxes of Thimbles!
I am an avid Thimble user.

Spools and spools of French Ribbons.

Threads.

And beautiful scissors.

Very cute Thread Winders.

Buttons everywhere.

These drawers had buttons in them.

I loved this button box
I looked at it.  Too expensive.  Put it back.
Came back to it and took a picture.  Then walked away.

Then, you know I had to buy it anyway.
I have no idea what it says but if any of you speak French, I would love to know.

And lastly, we gathered a picnic together and had it for dinner.

View from our hotel room.
At night the Eiffel tower lights up and every hour it sparkles.

It was wonderful!
