Pink Smocked Daygown

This is the Daygown from OFB "Smocked Baby Clothes" pattern .
Made from fabulous Swiss Flannel.  Soft and wonderful!

I am having FUN today!

I'm joining  the blog How Sweet The Sound for a Pink Saturday. So I started looking at my photos for Pink and was very surprised at how many Pink things I have.  Why did I think I made everything in Blue??

The sweet little sleeve with smocking at the wrist.

I just had to add this picture.
It's a favorite of all my pictures.  I could name it JOY!

That is what I feel when I look at it.  I see the light shining in my window and  sweeping over these wonderful Roses.  I can smell them once again, just by looking at this picture.  I  bought them from the grocers last winter when all my own Roses were sleeping.

Thank you for coming to my very first Pink Saturday!

Joyfully Yours,
Jeannie

This is just beautiful. I adore your darling feminine girly daygowns. Us this one done with honeycomb shocking? I saw Laurie from Southern Stitches do one with that and it was just lovely. One of my goals this year is to learn that stitch.

What a sweet little gown but the photo of the roses is frame worthy.

So delicate and pretty. I used to smock for our daughter and now have begun to pick it back up. Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Welcome to your first Pink Saturday, Jeannie. I'm so glad you joined us, and I hope you will come back again.

I fell in love when I saw this post. I love, love, love smocking. Unfortunately, I have minus zero talent when it comes to anything involving a needle.
