I am beginning my next article for my Sew Beautiful column.
I have already decided what I am doing and I am gathering my materials.
It actually took me quite a bit of time to decide on lace and fabric.
You see the final results but missed my painful deliberations.
I hate being dissatisfied with a choice I make. So I pull out and compare everything that might possibly work. Then I toss aside materials until I have the best ones on the table.
I love this Lace Insertion! It's new and I haven't used it yet. It looks like two separate pieces of lace that have been fagotted together. But it is really one piece of lace. And this is made from one of my favorite baby insertions too.
Unfortunately, I have not decided if I can use this wider lace on my project. But I really want to.
Haven't given up yet. I am designing as I move along.
I love this little Lace Edging. Very Sweet! And small.
Perfect for my little Baby Garment.

Oh, Jeannie B.!!! To have a choice of fine fabrics and THAT much lace to choose from - Heaven! That is my favorite part of starting a new project - planning and dreaming of what it will look like on the sweet little one I'm making it for. Oh to have an endless supply... sigh.
Look forward to seeing the finished project!
Well, I cannot wait to see what you are making!!!
Oh pretty pretty pretty!!!! I would so love to see all your lovely things!!
Right now, I am trying to decide what to sew based on the things that I can get to without digging through all the unpacked boxes in my garage. So out of my enormous stash of fabric, I have just a few to sew. It is proving to be a fun challenge.
I can't wait to see what you make!!!
Jeannie, you always come up with the most beautiful baby clothes. Most of forget that sometimes we go through growing pains to arrive at the finished project. Ok, time to go finish up a dress I've been working on for the past week.
Your deliberations sound much like mine. If I could only decide, there would be many more finished projects, less mess, but probably not as much fun! I never tire of looking at possible fabric and lace combinations!
