Daughter and Granddaughter arriving in France.
Paris!
This was my gift to my Granddaughter for her high school graduation. None of us had ever been to Paris.
We climbed to the second level (around 700 steps!) because the line was very short and it was cheaper! Then we took the lift to the top. I can not believe I got off a plane and climbed 700 steps. I was so proud of myself!!
We checked into the hotel Innova and then walked to the Eiffel Tower.
Well, I do look like I have been up for 24 hours and climbed 700 steps!
Oh, to be 18! Granddaughter skipped up the steps.
My favorite thing about looking down from the top was to see the secret gardens nestled inside the apartment buildings.
Flowers blooming everywhere.

Wow. What a gift!!! She is blessed.
Wow! What a wonderful graduation present! Enjoy!
Your daughter looks so young to have graduated. For my husband's graduation we all went to the ceremony, all four of us. It takes a lot of effort to get a PhD and I was prepared to spend a lot of money. I felt bad asking my children to take time off work though. We had not been to any of his other little ceremonies as I think they are a bit silly. Anything less than a PhD does not get recognised in our families. Field Medals, Nobel Prizes, and United Nations awards are a bit thin on the ground.
What a wonderful gift! The memories will remain with her forever. She is a lovely young woman.
The view from the tower is spectacular! I now regret not climbing those stairs when we were once there.
Thanks for sharing the excitement with us!
