Beautiful Old Mother of Pearl Buttons

Jane sewed the Buttons to a cloth covered cardboard and framed them.
This is another of Jane's Treasures.

I love Mother of Pearl buttons.

They are absolutely beautiful.

You can click on the photo to enlarge it.
The details of the Buttons are wonderful.
Art!

I love the way she has them displayed in this oval frame.
I wonder how long she played with their position before she was satisfied.

They are just beautiful.

I think Jane told me the buttons on this heart were from her Grandmother.
What a clever way to display something that has a sweet memory.

This seems doable!

Such lovely buttons. The heart with the buttons is very clever, and pretty.

Love this post... my mother loved buttons and I received a small collection of them when she passed away - many of which are mother-of-pearl. You have given me two wonderful ideas for displaying them! Thank you thank you thank you!

I have never seen such lovely MOP buttons, and certainly never gathered all together in one collection. Isn't that the magic of collections - how they are displayed? What a lovely way she has of displaying her button collections.
