Cottage Creations Fabric Store

This shop is in a French Acadian style house.
Cottage Creations is a cute little Fabric Shop in the country near Baton Rouge.
It is chock full of wonderful fabrics.

Beautiful  Quilt inspiration!

Fabrics arranged by color.

And a class room (also chock full of fabric!).

Pretty fabrics are everywhere.
They might be considered Quilting cottons by Quilters
But Smockers will think they are perfect fabrics for Smocked Dresses and Play clothes.

And fabrics arranged by groups.

Cute soft cottons.

This little dress is  my Best Embroidered Baby Clothes 1 pattern.
It appeared in an article in Sew Beautiful magazine.
It is made from Vintage fabric that is very like the Aunt Grace fabrics shown here.

I can see it made out of any of these sweet fabrics.

The fabric chosen for a  dress can determine if it will be a Play Dress or a Fancy Dress!  It's fun to       try different fabrics using one of your favorite patterns.

Support your Local Fabric Shops!!
Daisy will be happy to see you at Cottage Creations.
