Really Cute Take Along Bag

This very cute bag was a gift from two sewing friends.
One of them provided the materials.  The other friend stitched it up.  If you look close you can see that it has been quilted.

The opening is so cool.  A metal tape measure, like the kind workmen use, has been inserted  into the top fabric (the narrow band at the very top is a casing).  So you open the bag at the top  and then it will snap back into place because of the metal tape measure.  You don't sew through the tape measure, just insert it into the casing, then stitch the fabric closed.

It has pockets to slip my pretty sewing scissors in and keeps your take along sewing real handy!

Perfect for the stitching I took on my  Vacation.

I love it!!
