Mostly visiting together!

- I love babies, embroidery and old fashioned Baby Clothes!! I am the designer for the pattern line "The Old Fashioned Baby". My designs reflect my interest in vintage infant's and children's clothing, as do my classes, many of which include techniques and embellishments used from the late 1800's to the 1950's. I teach these techniques around the United States and publish some of my designs and ideas in Classic Sewing magazine. And I love Roses and all the flowers in My Garden (and yours too, probably).

Merry Christmas and may you feel joy throughout the festive season. I live in Darwin, 6 degrees south of the equator. It is rather damp as we wait at the edge of another tropical cyclone. It is a wet, cloudy and cool Christmas here. We will be using the good dishes, eating the celebratory food, and phoning distant family members. As I write this message I am wearing my incredibly kitsch Christmas pyjamas, which will continue to remind me to keep the Christmas ideals for weeks and weeks.
