Baby's First Daygown - Tucks in White

Because the basic pattern pieces are flat, it is possible to create your own tucked look.


Here is Baby with  Tucks and Embroidery but no Lace Insertion on the front.

There is one set of Tucks on either side of the front facing.
Featherstitching is worked on either side of the Tucks.

Notice how the tucks seem like a small feature on the daygown above.

But when put on a baby they show very nicely.

The sleeves are actually 3/4 length on this baby who is less than 6 weeks old.
