The Victorian Smockers


Victorian Smockers  - Chapter of Smocking Arts Guild of American

Sewing across America!

Working on our class project - Antique T-Yoke Dress, Gown or Christening Gown



It was fun to see these ladies again.

And extra fun to see some of the project from last year completed.


Last years project was from my "Baby Daydress" pattern.
It included Hemstitching on the dress and here is a Bonnet in the works, using some of the techniques taught in class.

Everyone was serious about learning this years techniques.

Stitching Lace Insertion to fabric was a focus in this class.


We were lucky to have a nice sunny day to sit outside and enjoy lunch.
