My Trip To NYC

We went to see Wicked.  It was wonderful!
I just returned from a trip to NYC.
With my Daughter and Granddaughter.

I had the best time!

We ate alot of Pizza.

NYC skyline as we were driving over the bridge to Brooklyn.
Went on a double decker tour bus around town.  One of those get on and get off buses.

We were lucky enough to get the "Mr Potato Head" car on the  Ferris Wheel in the Toys R Us Times Square store.

"Bear" came with us.  He was a ham for having his picture taken.
A "Walking Food Tour" in Greenwich Village.
One of the best things we did.

The Daffodils were blooming.

We saw Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins in addition to Wicked.
Mary Poppins was my favorite of all the shows we saw.

Went to the Today Show.

Went to the New York Apple Store and the one in Grand Central Station.  Everyone was abuzz about the latest IPAD and there were people camping out in line to make sure they got one.

We saw costumes on our Radio City Music Hall Back Stage tour.  And a real live honest to goodness Rockette!

Bear, enjoying his Hot Chocolate at The Plaza Hotel.
(Very Ritzy...you should have seen the bathroom!)

And this is where my memory card declared it was full.  But my daughter took plenty of pictures too.
Because there was also:  the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Boat Tour,  the huge M n M candy store, the huge Hershey candy store,  another cool Toy Store, the subway etc., etc.

There is alot of fun to be had in NYC.
And yes, I did manage to slip away to visit Spechler-Vogel and find some yummy pink Italian shirting that will make a great Daygown.

Thanks for coming along.

Where oh Where Has Jeannie Been traveling?

Abigail is wearing Emma's Smocked Baby Dresses.
Cute Baby Abigail in an Old Fashioned Baby Dress and Bonnet.
Some people know how to dress their babies!

She wore the bonnet all day!
This is a Bonnet Trained Baby.

I took this photo!  And I was under the influence of Dramamine!
Guess where I was for the last few days??

The above picture gives you a hint!
Come on...I want you to guess!!  It was my first visit!

I absolutely had to check out the Infants department of one of the top New York stores.

A pretty display.

But I was not impressed with the clothes.

The knits were soft and cute enough.  But there were NO classic garments at all.  It was just better quality Wal-Mart!

The Christening Gowns were all under $200 and I know that anyone of you could have made a nicer one in 6 hours!  I expected to see beautiful Christening Gowns in one of the most expensive Department Stores in the country.  What a shame!

More power to you all!!  Your babies are better dresses than the wealthy!!
