Milk Punch - it's a Southern thing!
We had yummy food and drinks.
We exchanged fun gifts - many were home made.
We enjoyed the company!
A few stitched while visiting!
Practicing Granitos before putting them on her dress!
Bunny, working on Pink Parfait from Creative Needle magazine.
Working Shadow Embroidery on her Dagyown.
Her tiny stitches amaze me.
Carol is now working on a carpet for her Doll house. One of these days I am going to visit her Grandaughter to see this Doll House!
I can't tell you what this is until after Christmas!
There was no show and tell today except the projects we were working on. Just good company.
It was a fun day!

If you are serving milk punch, where do I sign up?
We need to have a Milk Punch evening at SAGA convention!
How about a recipe for Milk punch?
Merry Blessed Christmas Jeannie!
Recipe? A friend of mine is the maker of these yummy drinks and the proportions are not exact but here it is. She usually makes it per glass, but did a pitcher of milk , cream and sugar for the party based on her per glass method, then added the bourbon to the glass. She did this by taste.
In a glass: a spoonful of sugar for a large glass (fine), add Bourbon and stir till sugar is dissolved. Add 1/3 real half and half and 2/3 whole milk. Stir. Add ice cubes and sprinkle nutmeg on top. This is a favorite drink of Sewing Ladies!
Nothing better than Milk Punch drinking, gift exchanging and stitching with friends! Sounds like a delightful day.
The Milk Punch I have had used ice cream in place of milk or cream. That also made it cold without the use of ice cubes. I will have to try your method.
I think I would like milk punch better than egg nog. I am in at convention.
