Friends

We are making Daygowns using "Baby Layette" pattern.
I went to visit a friend and we had FUN!
We are each sewing a daygown, hers is pink and mine is white.  We have been planing this for part of our summer fun!!
She sews faster than me!  I'm pretty slow.
Roses came from my Garden.
She loves Tea too!!  So we had tea and I got to choose my Tea Cup.
This is her sewing space.  She shares it with the home office they have.
Notice the shelf.  The hooks under it hold nifty stuff.
It's wonderful to sew here!
She has everything she needs right at her finger tips.  And pretty things to look at.
I should have taken more pictures.  I know you would like to see them.  See the black fabric under her sewing machine.  There are pockets that hold scissors etc.  I LOVE it!!!  And her drawer to the left has all her machine feet right there organized in the box, easy to find.

I came home and I am determined to make my sewing area more useful!!
I am always hunting for something.  Wasting my sewing time!

Sewing Friends are the best!

Me too, Jeannie! It is frustrating to waste sewing time looking for things and yet I hate spending time away from my sewing to get organized! Ha! Glad to know I'm not alone. That is one of my goals this week - to get organized. Can't wait to see your daygowns. That is a fun summer project with a friend!
