White Wednesday- Embroidered Baby DayDress

View 2 From OFB Baby Daydresses pattern.
I made this DayDress as a class sample for a guild I was teaching for.
There are many good techniques to learn here and it was a fun two day class!
The dress is made from a nice white Linen.
Many of the flowers are Bullions.
I stitched two bullions side by side to create a petal.
My Rose is Katy Road Pink from my Garden.
This dress has a fancy sleeve if you elect to make it.
I did not cut the fabric away from behind the lace.  The fabric is more stable this way and I like the way it looks.
Embellished with Lace and Bullion Roses.  Of course!
To see a very nice sample of this DayDress that has the fabric cut away from behind the lace - visit Dandelion Avenue!
Full view of my dress.  I used a nice ivory lace.
Hem embroidery is not too daunting!  But it's pretty!
And more shaped lace to practice on.
The back has a placket.  With my signature Rose Bud!!

Oh Jeannie, your little dress is so beautiful. Did you use linen? I love how crisp and fresh it looks. The embroidery is just gorgeous. Someday I hope to take one of your classes.
