Fun With My Sew Sews

Priscilla's Layette in Dotted Swiss.
Carole had been busy and had a lot to show us.
Notice the Featherstitching around this blanket.  Triple, no less!!
See her tag.  Her Grandchildren all know her as Honey.
I like the way she tucked the lace under the Bias Binding.
And the cute embellishment of the Button holes.
An Old Fashioned Bullion Rose on either side.
Simple but Sweet!
She has been crocheting Baby Blankets like a demon!!
Perhaps after this Sew Along is over, we will do the Baby Blanket lesson.
Lorraine is finishing up a Judith Adams class project.
And she finished a Wee Care gown.
I brought most of my finished Daygowns from my Summer of Daygowns.
I will show you all the daygowns my Friend and I made this summer, in a later post.
Hostess with the Mostess!!  Pretty China , that's for sure!
I love the Cream Soup Cups!  I have always wanted some.
And the lunch was amazing.

And the chit chat was fun and it was wonderful just to be together!

Steadily,
through the years,
kindness by  kindness,
we stitch the tapestry
of
friendship.

I wish I had friends & family who loved to sew! Maybe I can teach our baby grandgirl when she gets a little older and we can have sew-a-longs together!

Love the dishes... my grandmother had some like that and now my mother has them. Your group always has fun meetings.
