White Wednesday- Embroidered Baby DayDress

View 2 From OFB Baby Daydresses pattern.
I made this DayDress as a class sample for a guild I was teaching.
There are many good techniques to learn here!
The dress is made from a nice white Linen.
I did not cut the fabric away from behind the lace.  The fabric is more stable this way and I like the way it looks.  Many of the flowers are Bullions.  I stitched two bullions side by side to create a petal.
My real Rose is Katy Road Pink from my Garden.
This dress has a fancy sleeve if you elect to make it.
Embellished with Lace and Bullion Roses.  Of course!
Full view of my dress.  I used a nice ivory lace.
To see this dress with the lace cut away.  Visit Dandelion Avenue
She did a very pretty dress in this same pattern.
Hem embroidery is not too daunting!  But it's pretty.
And more shaped lace to practice on.
The back has a placket.  With my signature Rose Bud!!

White Wednesday is where I feature pretty little white garments and link up with Faded Charm.  Visit Faded Charm to see more pretty white things!

Good Morning, Miss Jeannie,
Would you please tell me how many wraps you use for each of the two inside bullions and one outside bullion to creat your rose buds? You ALWAYS make such perfect bullion roses and rose buds. Mine ALWAYS look so "un-crisp." Thanks!!!
