White Wednesday -The End of My Daygown Summer

Eleven Daygowns are pictured here.  Three were given away, so aren't in this picture.
Our Summer of Daygowns!!
It was one of the best summers ever.

My Friend made 8 Daygowns.  I made 6. She is much faster than me.  But that's ok.
I love Daygowns!

Pretty Daygowns with Lace and Featherstitching.

And a little Rosebud in the back!

Lace on the cuffs and lace along the front.

Blue Embroidery.

And Pink Embroidery!

So sweet!

Oh my! These remind me of the gowns my mother hand-stitched my babies (27, 25, 21 years ago!). Good old-fashioned hand sewing, using the softest cottons... I can't wait to be a "grandma" so I can buy some of these (soon I hope, as my eldest is getting married next Spring).

What a treasure trove! I love it. Each one more sweet than the last. I know a baby that would be beautiful in all of these. :) Truly works of art.

Martha, I had to laugh at your post. I don't think you could even schedule in a time for your baby to wear yet another outfit. I am waiting for the final count of sewing you did for this little baby girl!! But wouldn't I love a photo shoot with your little one in my daygowns!!
