Threads of Love Convention

Last week I taught for the Threads of Love Convention which was held right here in Baton Rouge.  The ministry actually started  at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Baton Rouge.

Lovely Embroidered Bib stitched by a student.
I taught embroidery in one of my classes. One lady went to town with her project!  Shows what you can do with a little focus.
I think she gave it away at a Baby Shower the next day!

The techniques I taught can be used to embellish the tiny garments needed.

Several Chapters had displays.
Threads of Love is a Sewing Ministry that has touched many lives and there are chapters all over the United States.

Garments on display to be donated to hospitals.
Women came from as far away as California to attend this Convention.

Smocked Baby Gown and Bonnet.

Chapter Display.

Sissy Davis
It was held in a local Church and the men of the Church cooked wonderful meals for everyone.

More about the convention coming soon!
