Baby's Smocked Layette Dress

Just a little bit of smocking at the neck edge. 
 This garment was brought to Saga Retreat by a student to show me.
I Love this pattern!

And I love the white Dotted Swiss with a pink slip showing through.

Thank you to my student for bringing in your dresses to show and inspire us!

They were all beautiful.

This is a perfect example of "less is more." I would never have expected so little smocking to be such an eye catcher. I think my Vivian Rose needs one like this! And I already have the pattern! Hurrah!
