Walking Food Tasting/History Tour

We went on the Chelsea Market Food tour.  Our first taste was chocolate milk in a glass bottle with the cream still in it.  It tasted like liquid ice cream!  Yumm
Can you guess how wonderful it is to find an entire Bakery that is Nut Free when you are a kid with peanut allergies?

The cookies from this same Bakery were works of art.

Best of all....I love the local history lesson.  We are entering a eatery that was one of the last meat packaging companies in the area to close.
Listening to the history of the market which was the old nabisco factory.

Having fun in NYC

I can relate to the no nut policy, have grandaughter who also has a nut and egg allergy. Makes cooking difficult, but we manage. make our own salad dressing - the way mum used to make it with condensed milk, use egg substitute. would be grateful for cake recipes without eggs.
