Sweet Daygown in Fashion Fabric

She stitched inverted tucks at the front.
I'm taking a break from my vacation to show you  a photo of an outfit that someone made and was kind enough to send pictures.

She used a fabric considered a "fashion fabric" that might be used for a garment or a quilt.

 The pattern is "Baby Layette".
Daygown, Bonnet and Slip included.

She made a matching slip, complete with embroidery.

And she made the Bonnet included in the pattern.
It has a scalloped edge along with embroidery.

The wonderful thing about sewing is that we can each sew our project to suit ones self.
Not everyone wants the soft colors and solid fabric for baby's clothes.

Some people like color and prints.

Thank you for sending in the photos to me!!
