Sew Sews Together in January 2014!

Lorraine B's pretty little sewing case.
The Sew Sews had our first get together of the New Year and it was fun!  All but one of us was able to come.

Lorraine B was busy with baby things for an "undetermined sex" Baby.  She is making girl and boy items so she will be ready.

It's such a bother when we don't know the sex of the coming baby!  I think the doc. should have a cute little envelope and slip the baby's sex type inside, seal it - to be opened only by the Grandmother (or Aunt….etc ) who sews for that baby!

I am sure we have divided opinions on that subject.

Lorraine P. was working on a Wee Care item.   Wee Care kits were made up at the last French Handsewers guild meeting.

She was stitching the binding down on her gown.

Lorraine B had her completed Wee Care set to show us.

Laura was smocking a pretty Bishop.

And I completely forgot to take a picture of our Lunch.  It was the best Potato Soup ever, along with salad and rolls.  Eating is always important to the Sew Sews!!

The day is filled with pleasure when you are sewing with friends.
